Some business owners choose the sonos wireless home hi-fi system for sound in smaller rooms and ask us if sonicsense is also compatible with this sound system.
Basically, this question can be answered in the affirmative, even though sonos is rather intended for private use and we recommend professional systems especially for larger rooms, several levels, several music zones, etc., as they are less susceptible to interference.
sonicsense can be combined with sonos, but the following should be noted:
For the old generation sonos speakers (e.g. sonos ONE), in order to connect our device, you need the sonos port (or the predecessor sonos connect, shown here in the picture, but this is usually no longer available). The sonos port must be purchased separately by you before installing our sonicsense music terminal. Translated with www.DeepL.com/Translator (free version)
The sonos Port has a jack input through which sonicsense can be connected. It then sends the audio signal wirelessly to the respective sonos speakers.
The latest versions of sonos speakers (e.g. the sonos Five) all have a jack input as standard and are compatible with sonicsense even WITHOUT the sonos port.
Please check in advance whether your sonos devices have a jack input, then you can be sure that you can connect our sonicsense music terminal without any problems!
